Any iTool visualization can be saved. In order to save your visualization, select File ® Save As... and then name the file. The file will automatically be assigned the extension .isv.
You can export data from an iTool to a data file or back to the current IDL session. For more information on exporting to a file, see Exporting Data, "Importing and Exporting Data".
