Snak for a Big Dog vs. Shaka, King of the Zulus
Visit the old site for the picture gallery and
misspelled travel stories.
Well, here we are again. Another year, another web update. Soon, NYU is
going to cut off my access, so enjoy the site while you can. The biggest
change from last time is that you'll now notice we have TWO furry kids.
Snak is now a big brother. He's approaching a year and a half, and we
thought it was time to get him a 'little' sibling. Enter Shaka, King of
the Zulus: beautiful, if not a bit on the wimpy side. Shaka enjoys
stealing my slippers, carrying around Ashley's old Caterpillar boots,
eating the piano bench, taunting Snak with his bully stick and, above all
else, his stuffed Zebra. He's at the head of his puppy class (after only
one lesson, but still...), so we expect he'll shape up in the near future.
Other news:
- I'm now officially a doctor who's of no use to anyone. I got my
Ph.D. in December of 2007.
- Snak and I moved to Lake Jackson and Ashley and I are living
together once again.
- I started a job at The Dow Chemical Company in Freeport, Texas,
as a Senior Research Engineer. I received my first paycheck
yesterday!
- We decided it was time to start making a dent in the whole 'empty
house' thing, so we ordered a dining room set.
- My paycheck went directly to the set :-( No rolling around in one
dollar bills. Maybe next month (or in three months, when we finish paying
for that set!)
Here are the normal disclaimers: If you searched for Dana
Pilaski, Dana Rachael Pilaski, D. R. Pilaski,
Dana R. Pilaski, Dana Breed, D. R. Breed, Dana R. Breed or Dana Rachael
Breed, you're in the right place. If you misspelled my middle name, well,
you got here anyway.
Please sign my guestbook, as it provides some sort of justification
for spending my time updating this page.
