NMR Acquisition Software for iSpin NMR spectrometer

This page contains software for running the iSpin NMR spectrometer from SpinCore Technologies, Inc.

This software was written by me (Tycho Sleator), with heavy use of the code developed by SpinCore Technologies, Inc.  For more details, read the individual source code files, and the corresponding batch files.   If you have any questions about this software, you can contact me at:

Below is a list of the files, and a brief description of what they do:

The files listed below are for carrying out a Hahn Echo experiment, which generates two rf pulses and and saves the resulting signal to a text file.   Read the file "Hahn_echo.bat" for a list of parameters and what they do (last update - 11/26/2013):

The files listed below are for carrying out a "Hahn Echo Sweep" experiment.  "Hahn_echo_sweep" carries out a sequence of Hahn echo experiments, each with a different time interval, tau,  between the two rf pulses.  The signals after the second pulse for various values of tau are saved to a sequence of files.   The Hahn Echo Sweep experiment is useful for measuring self-diffusion of water molecules (in the presence of a magnetic-field gradient).   Read the file "Hahn_echo_sweep.bat" for a list of parameters and what they do (last update - 11/26/2013):

The files listed below are for carrying out a "Stimulated echo" experiment.  "Stimulated_echo" generates three rf pulses, with time tau1 between the first and second pulses, and time tau2 between the second and third pulses, and saves the resulting signal to a text file.   Read the file "Stimulated_echo.bat" for a list of parameters and what they do (last update - 11/26/2013):

The files listed below are for carrying out a "Stimulated echo sweep" experiment.  "Stimulated_echo_sweep" carries out a sequence of  Stimulated echo experiments, each with a different time interval, tau2, between the second and third rf pulses.  The signals after the third pulse for the various values of tau2 are saved to a sequence of files.  Read the file "Stimulated_echo_sweep.bat" for a list of parameters and what they do (last update - 11/26/2013):

The files listed below are for carrying out a "inversion recovery" experiment for the purpose of measuring T1.   "T1_IR_sweep" carries out a set of pulse sequences in which a pi pulse is applied, followed after a variable time tau by a pi/2 pulse, and the resulting FID is recorded and saved to a file.   Read the file "T1_IR_sweep.bat" for a list of parameters and what they do (last update - 11/26/2013):

The files listed below are for carring out a "CPMG" sequence.  This program is essentially identical to the CPMG.c program developed by SpinCore, except that the output formatting to the terminal window is neatened up and made more readible.  The files CPMG.bat and CPMG.h can be obtained directly from SpinCore (last update -11/26/2013).
